New Delhi: Shark Tank India Season 2 saw an entire episode where boAt founder Aman Gupta took digs at CarDekho founder Amit Jain. The latest episode began with a pitch by Raipur entrepreneur duo who own ZOFF- Zone Of Fresh Food masala brand. The duo impressed all five sharks with their Rs. 4.5 crore online sales and Rs. 2.5 crore offline sales. 

When they pitched their masala brand to Namita Thapar, who said she does a lot of cooking, they asked her, “Aap Pune mein beth ke 3 masale dekh rahe ho,” all sharks burst out laughing and congratulated them on their confidence. 

Ultimately, 4 sharks offered them offers with good valuation but the duo ultimately went for Aman Gupta’s offer which was Rs. 1 crore for 1.25% equity in their masala brand. During the battle for investing, Aman Gupta took a dig at Amit Jain and said, "aap bas dekhte rehte ho, offer nahi dete." Amit later gave an offer which matched Vineeta's offer however, Aman Gupta revised his offer and the masala brand founders went with that.

Further on in the episode, a toy brand with the ame Desi Toys impressed Amit Jain who relived memories of his childhood after looking at the products of the brand.

However, due to scale issues, all sharks bowed out and did not choose to make an offer while Amit Jain chose to make an offer not on the brand but the entrepreneur in the hope that she would make a different vertical in the same category.

While discussing the offer when Vineet Singh said that something like ‘funky toys’ could come up, Aman Gupta interrupted and said, “ No, not funny toys, toys dekho,” which left everyone in splits.

Amit Jain, however, retorted that the founder of Desi Toys was free to choose her brand name though she refused the offer.

Ultimately, the last pitch of the episode saw a 3D-modeling and metaverse company Cloudworx make an impressive pitch. 

However, most sharks backed out but Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar made an offer to the founder seeing his potential.
