New Delhi: 'Shark Tank India Season 2's latest episode saw a tussle between sharks as they fought to invest in a camping equipment brand. Interestingly, things got a little personal when Peyush Bansal took a dig at Namita Thapar and Amit Jain( co-sharks) and said 'ek pharmaceutical company and ek car company' hinting at the interesting collaboration for investing in a camping equipment brand.
While Namita did not respond to Peyush's jibe immediately, she did say what would this 'ye chashme wale' do. Peyush countered and said that he would bring tech to the pitchers. Namita then said that he was not the only one with tech expertise. Amit Jain also responded that he had expertise in digital marketing which Aman Gupta interrupted by saying he could also do.
This tussle finally led the two sibling entrepreneurs to go for a final offer by Peyush Bansal and Anupam Mittal.
Meanwhile, MOPP Foods, another food brand's pitch was appreciated by the sharks who also really liked their products. However, due to equity distribution and multiple brands under one company issue, most opted out while Amit Jain chose to invest in their business.
Amit made a generous offer to the duo and made them happy.
Later, a company with the name of Econniture asked for an investment with an impressive pitch. However, most sharks refused to invest for various reasons calling it early stage.
