New Delhi: A brand called Padcare created history on the recent episode of ‘Shark Tank India Season 2’ when four sharks battled with each other to invest in the brand. An effective sanitary napkin disposing and recycling company ‘Padcare’ drew so much attention and praise from the sharks that Peysh Bansal even offered a blank cheque to the founder saying, “black cheque le le bhar lio tu.” While the asked offer was 50 lakhs for 2% equity, Anupam Mittal gave the exact same deal to the founder who was later offered an all-four sharks deal with 1 crores for 4% equity.

The Padcare pitch was so impressive that Aman Gupta ( Founder boAt) called its founder ‘PadMan of 2022’ even to the extent of recalling a dialogue from Abhishek Bachchan’s film ‘Guru’ in which he says, ‘apne dhandhe ka mazboot khiladi huin’.

Among all sharks, Peyush was the most impressed when he said, “ 1, 1.5 crores, 2 crore, 2.5 crores jo apko chhaiye le lo apni valuatuin par” offering a blank cheque to the founder.

Later, a brand called Swadeshi Buildings brought attention to how utensils made of clay, mud are more healthier for our well-being in comparison to aluminum utensils. Although the sharks were impressed with their initiative, the entrepreneurs finally took Vineeta Singh’s offer.

Furthermore, a young entrepreneur of 18-years of age pitched OLL, an online education learning platform. While all sharks were superbly impressed by his sharpness, depth and knowledge of his brand; Vineeta and Peyush finally made an offer of 30 lakhs for 5% equity.

Interestingly, the young 18-year old had so well-researched his competitors, his own business that he impressed all.
