New Delhi: The third season of ‘Shark Tank India’ is almost here! The highly anticipated programme is coming up, and that means it's time for individuals with unique ideas to start looking for investors. In a recent promotional video, Shark Tank India revealed the identity of their newest shark. Ritesh Agarwal of OYO, Deepinder Goyal of Zomato, and Azar Iqbal of Inshort are all slated to be joined by Radhika Gupta. Radhika Gupta, Managing Director and CEO of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, is the newest addition to the 'Shark Tank' panel.
It has been made clear by Radhika Gupta that any investments she makes in Shark Tank would be made in her own capacity, as reported on X.
Who is Radhika Gupta?
Radhika Gupta has had a great deal of success as a business owner and investor. Since 2017, she has served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Edelweiss Mutual Fund, making it one of the major mutual fund firms in India. She is also a Young Global Leader acknowledged by the World Economic Forum (WEF) and an outstanding author.
Her LinkedIn profile described her as a "Asset management professional, who enjoys leading teams and building businesses. Proud daughter of an Indian diplomat, global citizen, and child of change. Writer, storyteller, TEDx and Josh Talks speaker, finding magic in words."
Radhika had problems at her birth, leading to a damaged neck and a tilt in her head. "The girl with the broken neck" is how she is often referred to.
With the addition of a new "Campus Special" segment in the forthcoming season of Shark Tank India, young college students will have the opportunity to pitch their start-ups on the programme and maybe walk away with the winning offer.
‘Shark Tank India 3’ is coming soon exclusively on Sony LIV.
