We had earlier told you that their marriage was fixed on June 24th that was to happen in Ludhiana(Abhinav's hometown)[YAY! Rubina herself had announced about their wedding two weeks ago but the date wasn't revealed then. She had posted a picture in which she's seen giving a tight kiss to her hubby-to-be Abhinav and wrote in caption - "YES 😇 we @ashukla09 are Going to Begin our New Journey, with proudly embracing each other’s imperfections for an eternity ! ☺️☺️! This JUNE will be the Celebration of our BIG Day❤️....... thank you ALL for flooding us with love and good wishes🙏🏻😊"
A leading daily reports that Abhinav, who was last seen in Bollywood film 'Aksar 2' opposite Zareen Khan will be tying the knot with his star girlfriend Rubina in the beautiful Shimla and not Ludhiana since most of their relatives are settled there.
The bride-to-be Rubina herself revealed it to TOI: "We have chosen Shimla for various reasons. To begin with, most of our relatives are settled there. However, the pre-wedding functions will take place in Mumbai and Ludhian(Abhinav's hometown). We are not going in for an elaborate ritual, as for us, what matters most is the saat phere. We both wanted it to be an outdoor affair. Abhinav , being an adventure junkie, wished to exchange vows amidst the mountains, in the lap of nature. I, too, wanted a day wedding with lots of natural light and greenery around"
And the hard working lady also revealed that she will go for Honeymoon later as she can't afford to take more than 10 days break at once from 'Shakti...' in which she plays the lead protagonist.
"Well, that can happen later. I don’t mind waiting for it, as anticipation adds to the excitement."
Pre-wedding jitters? And Rubina shares she's not someone who will have jitters. "The idea is to grow old together and know each other better, gradually. I am looking forward to exploring new things with him by my side."
