Shaheer Sheikh-Sonarika Bhadoria's 'Mughal-E-Azam' TV remake gets its title, show FINALLY goes on floors

Popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh, who was last seen as Dev in Sony TV’s ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’, is all set to make his comeback to the small screen with Colors TV’s Mughal-E-Azam. Joining the handsome hunk is Sonarika Bhadoria, who was last seen in ‘Prithvi Vallabh’. The magnum opus from the stable of Aniruddh Pathak’s Writers Galaxy is highly-awaited by the television viewers. The historical saga will narrate the story of Salim and Anarkali, which will be played by Shaheer and Sonarika respectively. As per the latest buzz, the show has gone on floors from Friday, July 20. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that makers have decided to commence shooting after the cast was locked down. The big-budget show has been titled ‘Salim Anarkali – Dastaan-e-Mohabbat’, the report in Tellychakkar said. In case, you are thinking Shaheer and Sonarika have started shooting for the show from today, we have to stop you right there. The makers will first shoot the story of the protagonist’s childhood, a source close to the show told the portal. Therefore, only the child artists will shoot for the upcoming show, the insider revealed. Uzair Basir and Naisha Khanna will play the young Salim and Anarkali in the show. Interestingly, Shaheer is currently in Indonesia and will headback to India to commence the shooting soon. The actors who are part of the show include, Shahbaz Khan, Aruna Irani, Piyush Sahdev and Gurdeep Punj. The report also added that the show will hit the airwaves by the end of August.
