New Delhi: 'Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai' star Satish Shah had an unexpected experience while visiting the UK. Recently, veteran actor Satish Shah took to Twitter to recount his time at Heathrow airport. Shah claimed that he overheard a staff member at the airport asking a colleague how someone like Satish Shah could afford a first class ticket, likely making racial or ethnic remarks about him.


Shah tweeted about the incident on Monday and said that in response, he said that as an "Indian," he could afford the pricey ticket.


“I replied with a proud smile ‘because we are Indians’ after I overheard the Heathrow staff wonderingly asking his mate ‘how can they afford 1st class?'” he wrote in the tweet.






A number of people commented and Mr. Shah's tweet received more than 12,000 likes. In an apology for the encounter, Heathrow Airport also replied to the tweet.
