Surbhi Chandna & Namita Khanna's 'Sanjivani 2' To Go Off-Air In December?

Surbhi Chandna's comeback show 'Sanjivani 2', which went on-air in August this year, to go off-air next month.

Producer Siddharth Malhotra's Star Plus show 'Sanjivani', featuring 'Ishqbaaaz' fame Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna in lead roles of 'Ishani' & 'Siddhant' respectively, began in August this year and is fetching positive response from viewers for the story line as well as performances. However, 'Sanjivani 2' has failed to deliver expected numbers since beginning. Last month, various reports suggested that 'Sanjivani' might soon bid goodbye to the viewers. Later, show's producer squashed the rumours. But, latest buzz suggest that the show is going to end soon.

Speaking about the same, a source from the sets told an entertainment portal that Sanjivani 2 will be going off air in December. i.e. next month. The current track which shows Surbhi Chandna and Namit Khanna’s characters’ blossoming romance hasn’t helped grab enough eyeballs. So, the makers eventually took a call." 'Sanjivani' producer as well as makers are yet to react on the same. On a related note, 'Sanjivani' was one of the most loved TV shows which went off-air in 2005 after a run of three years. Later, 'Sanjivani' makers launched its sequel 'Dill Mill Gayye' in the year 2007. The show, featuring Jennifer Winget, Karan Singh Grover among others, too went on to become a huge hit. However 'Sanjivani 2', also featuring Mohnish Bahl, Gurdeep Kohli, Sayantani Ghosh and Rohit Roy in important roles, hasn't yet succeeded in creating the same magic onscreen and the off-air news will surely make the show's loyal viewers sad.
