New Delhi: Popular TV actor Barun Sobti and his wife Pashmeen Manchanda are expecting their first child together. The couple is super excited to welcome a little bundle of joy into their lives. Pashmeen’s baby shower was held recently and we had shown you pictures from the ceremony. Small screen celebs including Sai Deodhar, Dalljiet Kaur, Abhaas Mehta and Akshay Dogra were present at the baby shower ceremony.


Barun Sobti’s ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon’ co-star Sanaya Irani also attended the function. The beautiful actress shared the cutest wish possible for the soon-to-be parents.

Sanaya took to Instagram to share a picture of the couple from the baby shower ceremony along with a heartfelt message.

‘’From best friends to soon to be best parents in the world ... from sunny to soon to be sunny masi ???????? cannot wait for this journey to begin ???????? love you guys #babyontheway #soexcited,’’ the ‘Mil Jab Hum Tum actress captioned the photo.

Sanaya Irani's husband and TV actor Mohit Sehgal also shared a picture along with the caption, ''Sleep is so overrated. You're having a

Sanaya and Barun played the respective characters of Khushi Kumari Gupta and Arnav Singh Raizada. Viewers loved the two actors and their sizzling chemistry. The fans gave them the moniker ArShi and they even expressed their disappointment when ‘IPKKND’ season 1 went off air on November 30, 2012.

The franchise became such a big hit that Star Plus launched ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon Ek Baar Phir’ featuring Shrenu Parikh and Avinash Sachev in 2013.

Sanaya and Barun later reunited for a finite web series titled 'Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon - Ek Jashn', which beamed on Hotstar.

Gul Khan and the channel brought back ‘IPKKND’ for season 3 in 2017. However, the romantic saga featuring Shivani Tomar and Barun Sobti couldn’t set the TRP charts on fire and was pulled off within three months.
