Salman Khan’s Dus Ka Dum 3 returned to the small screens on June 4 after a gap of nine years on Sony Entertainment Television. The game show was launched with a lot of expectations but it failed to live up to the hype. The show opened with a rating of 1.1 despite massive promotions and the TRPs continued to plummet further. Despite Bhaijaan’s charm and wit, the third season of Dus Ka Dum didn’t connect with the TV viewers. The makers of the show had reduced the duration from one-and-half-hours to one hour, but DKD 3 couldn’t fare well on the rating charts.

As per the latest buzz, the makers might introduce further changes to Dus Ka Dum 3. The show might be moved to a weekend slot from its current weekday slot of 8:30pm, as per a report in an entertainment portal.

The makers have plans to make the show more celebrity driven. Earlier, Anil Kapoor and Jacqueline Fernandez appeared on the show to promote ‘Race 3’, but not every episodes feature a celebrity. The plan is have a Bollywood celeb in every episode, the report said.

“Everything is under deliberation, but nothing has been finalised as of now. Salman will start shooting for the show again from July 16. Kamal Haasan will visit the sets to promote his film Vishwaroopam 2. The rest of the line-up is not yet clear,” a source told DNA.

The show’s team is trying to bring on-board Kajol and Rekha to make an appearance on Dus Ka Dum 3.

“Right now, Kajol is in the UK, and she will return to Mumbai after celebrating her birthday on August 5. However, Salman will shoot for DKD till mid-August intermittently, so they are hoping to get her on the show. Talks are on with Rekha, too,” another source added.
