New Delhi: The entire industry is in shock following Nitesh Pandey's unexpected death. The popular television actor's body was discovered in a hotel room in Nashik's Igatpuri. Nitesh breathed his last at around two in the morning after he succumbed to a heart attack. Looking at his family sobbing uncontrollably during his funeral was a really heartbreaking sight. The 51-year-old actor is survived by his parents, wife Arpita Pandey, and son Aarav.
Several celebrities who have shared screen space with Nitesh, expressed their grief over his untimely demise and broke down. Actor Anup Soni, who co-starred with Nitesh in the popular television show 'Saaya', shared a picture from the serial in remembrance of his oldest co-star. The picture has Nitesh, R Madhavan, Anup Soni, Achint Kaur and Mansi Joshi in the frame.
Sharing the picture, Anup Soni wrote, "Really Sad to hear about Nitesh Pandey...May his soul rest in peace"

Sharing fond memories about her bond with Nitesh, co-actor Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular character in the show 'Anupamaa' told IANS, "he was the only industry friend who stayed constantly in touch with her apart from Delnaaz and Sarabhais, during her sabbatical."
Last seen in 'Anupamaa' and 'Pyar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyara Pyara', Nitesh, who has been a popular face in the television industry for over two decades, was from Almora Kumaon in Uttarakhand. Nitesh started his journey with theatre in 1990. In 1995, he bagged the role of a detective in 'Tejas'. He went on to work in serials like 'Manzilein Apani Apani', 'Astitva...Ek Prem Kahani', 'Saaya' and 'Durgesh Nandini'.
Apart from television, he also worked in films. His work in the National Award winning film 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' received widespread appreciation. He also starred in 'Om Shanti Om' and 'Badhaai Do'.
