'He Was Surviving On One Lung': Nikki Tamboli Shares Details About Her Brother's Health Issues In Emotional Post
Nikki Tamboli shared her late brother Jatin Tamboli's health issues while penning an emotional note on social media.
‘Bigg Boss 14’ contestant Nikki Tamboli’s brother Jatin Tamboli passed away due to COVID-19 complications. The actress, who became a household name, after participating in Salman Khan’s reality show, shared an emotional note on her Instagram to reveal details about her brother’s health issues.
The ‘Bigg Boss 2020’ second runner-up mentioned that her brother was hospitalized last month. She added that Jatin contracted COVID-19 while undergoing treatment in the hospital.
"My brother was just 29. He was dealing with lot of health issues since many years. 20 days back my brother got admitted in hospital as his lungs collapsed. He was surviving on one lung. He tested positive for tuberculosis and covid in the hospital. He also got pneumonia and today morning, his heart stopped beating and responding. God have been always kind to me and my family. He saved my brother many times,” Nikki wrote.

The Marathi Mulgi thanked the fans for offering prayers for her brother’s well-being.
“But as we say what is written is written in the destiny, no one can ever change that I thank all of them who prayed for my brother. He was tired of the hospital. He is in the better place and in better hands. God shall take care of him,” she added.
The likes of Hina Khan, Aly Goni offered condolence to Nikki's family on social media. "So so sorry to hear about your brother Nikki , I very well know how it feels.. No one can ever ever replace a lost family member.. Heartfelt Condolences," Hina tweeted.
Nikki had organised a puja for her brother's well-being on May 1. She had requested her fans to pray for her brother's good health while sharing the photos from the ceremony.
On the professional front, Nikki will be next seen as a contestant in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 11’. The show will air on Colors channel.
