Gul Khan's 'Nazar', featuring Monalisa, Harsh Rajput & Niyati Fatnani in lead roles, began in July 2018 and turned out to be a huge hit at the time slot of 11pm. After entertaining fans for one-and-a-half years, the first season of Star Plus' much-loved supernatural show is set to bid goodbye to the viewers soon. Producer Gul Khan recently revealed the same on social media and announced that 'Nazar' will continue with its second season however lead stars Harsh & Niyati will not be a part of it. The makers have finally found the leading lady of 'Nazar 2'.


TV actress Shruti Sharma, who was recently seen playing lead role in Colors TV's popular show 'Gathbandhan' opposite 'Yeh Hai Chahatein' actor Abrar Qazi, is now set to replace Niyati Fatnani as female lead in Colors.




Confirming the same, Shruti told TOI that, "I play an ordinary girl with extraordinary capabilities, which she isn’t aware of. She has lost her parents and is struggling with life. It will be interesting to play her transformation from ordinary to extraordinary."

The news will surely make Shruti Sharma's fans super-happy however Harsh & Niyati will surely be missed.


Speaking further about 'Nazar' season 1, it will reportedly end on February 19 making way for the second season. The makers have retained Monalisa aka 'Mohana' in the show.

Coming back to Shruti Sharma, she made her TV debut with Star Plus' reality show 'India's Next Superstars' judged by Rohit Shetty and Karan Johar. She was one of the finalists and was declared as the runner up. She even received a special mention from judges in the grand finale. Apart from 'Nazar 2', she is set to make her Bollywood debut with the upcoming film 'Pagglait' featuring 'Dangal' fame Sanya Malhotra in lead role. Shruti will be seen playing the pivotal role of Sanya Malhotra's friend in Ekta Kapoor produced film.
