New Delhi: Star Plus is all set to launch the ninth season of its popular dance reality show ‘Nach Baliye’ soon. The makers of the show are currently in talks with celebrities to participate in the show. We earlier informed you that popular TV celebs including Rubina Dilaik & Abhinav Shukla, Kavita Koushik & Ronnit Biswas have been approached for the show. As per the latest buzz, the makers have approached another small screen couple to take part in the show.

We are talking about Shalini Kapoor and her husband Rohit Sagar. The beautiful actress, who is fondly known for her role as Dilshaad in Karan Singh Grover and Surbhi Jyoti’s ‘Qubool Hai’, has been approached for ‘Nach Baliye 9’.



A report in a leading daily has suggested that Shalini and her husband Rohit have been offered to participate in the dance show. When the daily contacted the ‘Swaragini’ actress, she refused to comment about it.

"I am not supposed to talk about it right now. I wish to refrain from commenting over it as the clauses don't allow," Shalini told Times Of India.




Interestingly, Shalini played the role of Janhvi Kapoor’s on-screen mother in her debut film ‘Dhadak’.

Talking about ‘Nach Baliye 9’, the show is rumoured to be judged by Bollywood couple Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput. Although, the ‘Kabir Singh’ actor is yet to confirm the development, sources close to the show have revealed that he is in talks with the production house.

Popular TV actress Jennifer Winget and comedian Sunil Grover are rumoured to host ‘Nach Baliye 9’. Hina Khan, currently seen as Komolika in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, was also approached for the show. However, the ‘Yeh Rishta’ actress turned down offer because of her busy schedule.
