New Delhi: Zee TV’s popular show ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ is all set to take a generation leap and the makers are busy roping in the actors for the same. The show starring Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia is doing quite well in terms of TRPs and the makers have plans to spice up things by introducing a leap. Speculations were rife that Pragya will give birth to twins and the story of the show will then revolve around them. As per the latest buzz, the production house has roped in two actresses to play Sriti Jha’s on-screen daughters.

A report in a leading daily has suggested that MTV Splitsvilla 10 winner Naina Singh and Kirtida Mistry will play Abhi and Pragya’s twins in the show.
Naina Singh, who won the tenth season of Splitsvilla along with Baseer Ali, will play the role of Rhea in ‘Kumkum Bhagya’. She was also a finalist in Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty’s show ‘India’s Next Superstars’ on Star Plus.

Mishal Raheja, Leena Jumani and Shikha Singh will quit the show post the generation leap. Interestingly, gossip mills were earlier buzzing with rumours that Priyank Sharma and Siddharth Sharma will play Pragya and Abhi’s sons in the show.
However, Priyank, in an exclusive chat with filmymonkey, said that he was approached for the show but he didn’t give his nod.
