Mahesh Bhatt, who helmed the show, got emotional while talking about it on twitter. He posted an emotional message as show is aired its last episode. He wrote, “There is an end and there is an ending to that end . Today #Naamkaran comes to an end. What a great journey it has been for me. I have learnt so much. Thank you Star Plus for the Naamkaran experience.My mother used to tell me: Son we can complain because roses have thorns, or rejoice because thorns have roses.The choice is yours!

But there is one character and actress from the show, who will always remain in our hearts and she is Reema Lagoo. Mahesh Bhatt also remembered her and posted, “Reema Ji began her journey with me with Aashiqui. She was an exceptional person and an actor with great emotional depth. It was she who infused life into my show Naamkaran . I am so fortunate to have met her on this journey of life. 🙏”
