New Delhi: After a blockbuster season three, Colors TV is all set to launch a new season of ‘Naagin’ soon. ‘Naagin 4’ has been making waves ever since the producer Ekta Kapoor revealed Nia Sharma as one of the leads of the show. The ‘Jamai Raja’ actress will play the role of a shape-shifting snake in the upcoming supernatural saga. Gossip mills are also buzzing with the rumours that ‘Pavitra Rishta’ fame Ankita Lokhande will play the other naagin in the show.


The name of Aalisha Panwar was also floating in the media but recent reports suggest that the ‘Ishq Mein Marjawan’ actress is out of contention and Ankita will play the other lead in ‘Naagin 4’. We had earlier informed you that ‘Nach Baliye 9’ contestants Vishal Aditya Singh and Madhurima Tuli might join the show.

As per the latest buzz, the makers of ‘Naagin 4’ have roped in two actresses to play pivotal roles in the show. A report in an entertainment portal suggested that Geetanjali Tikekar & Rakhi Vijan will be part of the weekend show.

Geetanjali shot to fame after playing the role of Aparna in Cezzane Khan and Shweta Tiwari starrer ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’.

“Talks are on, but nothing is confirmed at the moment,” the actress told IWMBuzz.

Geetanjali has been part of shows like ‘Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon-Ek Baar Phir’, 'Tere Liye' and ‘Ek Duje Ke Vaaste’.

Talking about Rakhi Vijan, she is fondly known for her role of Sweety Mathur in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Hum Paanch’. She has been part of shows like ‘Madhubala-Ek Ishq Ek Junoon’, ‘Ganga’ and ‘Meri Durga’.

Rakhi confirmed that she is part of ‘Naagin 4’. “Yes, I am back to go back to Balaji after Hum Paanch. I am excited about this,” the former ‘Bigg Boss contestant told the portal.
