'Colors' show 'Dastaan-E-Mohabbat: Salim Anarkali', featuring Shaheer Sheikh & Sonarika Bhadoria, got launched with much fanfare and hype around it last month. But, the magnum opus is yet to deliver the expected numbers. The makers of 'Dastaan-E-Mohabbat...', are trying their best to make the show more interesting & entertaining for the viewers and now a new character is all set to enter the show. TV actress Heli Daruwala, who is known for playing the role of Anu Mittal in Ekta Kapoor's top-rated show 'Naagin 3', has bagged an important role in the show based on the love-story of Salim & Anarkali. She will play the role of Shaheer Sheikh's wife in the show.

‘Naagin 3’ actress Heli Daruwala DATING restaurateur Ankit Anand

Heli confirmed the news & told a leading daily that,“I always wanted to do a historical drama and I think, nothing could have been better than this. I have grown up watching films based on the story, and it’s a dream come true. I will play Salim’s first wife Man Bai, who is also Jodha’s brother Bhagwandas’ daughter.”

She further told TOI that, “When the makers approached me for this role, I was over the moon. I had always wished to be part of a show and setup like this. So I didn’t think much before giving it a nod.”

On the career front, Heli made her TV debut with youth show 'Humse Hai Life' & went on to feature in popular shows like 'Suvreen Guggal – Topper of The Year', 'Nisha Aur Uske Cousins' among others.
