TV actress Hiba Nawab, who is currently playing the lead role of 'Elaichi' in SAB TV's 'Jijaji Chhat Per Hain', was earlier in the news for her alleged love-affair with her former co-star Pearl V Puri. Handsome hunk Pearl, who is currently playing the lead role of 'Mahir' in 'Colors' top-rated show 'Naagin 3', was said to be dating her during their 'Meri Saasu Maa' days but they never admitted the same and parted ways last year. Now the latest buzz suggests that Hiba Nawab has moved on and is now dating actor Rohan Gandotra.

According to a leading daily, “Hiba and Rohan have been dating since a few months now. They are very protective about each other and have consciously avoided posting any pictures of them together on social media, in order to avoid speculations.”

Both, Rohan and Hiba denied the news and remained that they are just friends.

Speaking about the same, Rohan told the daily that, “We know that speculations are rife, but Hiba and I are just friends.”

Hiba Nawab too reacted on the same and have a detailed explanation. She told Bombay Times that,  “I am not dating anyone. In fact, I have been single for the past two-and-a-half years. Rohan is part of a common group of friends. We have known each other for two years now and we worked together on a mini-series. After that, we lost touch and started meeting some time ago because of our common friends. Our bonding has been gradual. I don’t want such stories to come out as my mother won’t appreciate it. I hail from a small town (Bareilly) and she wants me to focus on my work. It’s a huge deal for her to even allow me to work in this industry. Though I understand that link-ups are a part of this profession, my parents don’t think like that. My mother knows that Rohan is a friend and they have met on a couple of occasions. My girl pals will vouch for the fact that I am single. In fact, they want me to hang out with guys because I am always with them."

On the career front, Hiba's first lead role was in Channel V's show 'Crazy Stupid Ishq'. After which she went on to play lead roles in shows like 'Tere Sheher Mein', 'Bhaag Bakool Bhaag' among others. Whereas, Rohan's debut show was Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Everest' in which he played the male lead 'Aakash'. After which he went on to do shows like 'Qubool Hai', 'Naagin', 'Kaala Teeka' and was last seen playing the lead role in popular 'Colors' show 'Dil Se Dil Talk' in which he replaced Shiddharth Shukla. Also, Rohan is reportedly in talks to participate in 'Bigg Boss 12'.
