Soap-queen Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring back the rebooted version of her iconic show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' on 'Star Plus'.  Ever since the announcement, 'Kasautii...' fans are desperate to know about the star-cast of show's reboot version. The latest buzz suggests that Erica Fernandes has been finalised as 'Prerna' and she will soon shoot for a special video for the show's announcement. Also, there has been constant buzz that Erica's 'Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi' co-star Shaheer Sheikh might play 'Anurag' but seems like that is not happening now. Reportedly, Mohit Raina & Angad Bedi are in contention to reprise the role of Anurag in show's reboot.

Reportedly, Ekta Kapoor is meeting many known TV actors & auditions for the role are currently going on.

Speaking about the same, a source told a leading daily that, “Several actors have already given look tests, but Ekta wants somebody who will match the traits of Anurag. The hero has to be a little khadoos, a workaholic and a man who is stuck between two women.”

Speaking about Mohit & Angad being considered for the role of 'Anurag Basu', the source further told DNA that, “There was talk of Shaheer Sheikh doing the role, but he is not in the reckoning. Ekta has two actors in mind, Angad Bedi and Mohit Raina, but is yet to take a final call. Nonetheless, she will decide soon as the shoot is scheduled to begin in two weeks.”

The love-saga starring Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan in lead roles of Prerna and Anurag, respectively,  remains one of the most loved shows on the small screen till date. Apart from them, the roles played by Ronit Roy & Urvashi Dholakia became popular too. The popular 'Star Plus' was the story of lovers Anurag & Prerna who never reunited.

'Kasautii...' reboot version will go on air in August on Star Plus & the makers will soon announce the show's cast.
