New Delhi: After Abhishek Nigam joined Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul in place of Sheezan Khan, it has now been reported that Tunisha Sharma's replacement in the show has also been found. The role of Princess Mariam will now be essayed by Manul Chudasama; ETimes reported. The role, which was earlier played by Tunisha Sharma, died by committing suicide on December 24, 2022.


Meanwhile, Manul has begun shooting for the show. Manul shared her excitement about joining the show. "I am really grateful for the character and the show for choosing me. It is a surreal feeling to be a part of the show." She told ETimes.


In the same report she added, "This is my fourth show as a lead so there isn't any nervousness, instead, I am really excited to be a part of the show. I have already begun shooting."


Manul also shared that she is not a 'replacement' to Tunisha Sharma, who was excellent in the show. Manul told the publication, "Replacing' wouldn't be the right word. I am not replacing Tunisha but coming up with a fresh perspective on the character. I can never take Tunisha's place, she did an amazing job in the show and I just hope that people love the character and shower us with the same love that they did before."


Meanwhile, Manul was last see in the TV show 'Brij Ke Gopal' as Radha with Paras Arora. The show soon wrapped up due to low ratings, but the actor became quite popular for her role.


Tunisha Sharma and Sheezan Khan are no longer part of Ali Baba: Tunisha Sharma, because of her death and Sheezan for being implicated in abetting the suicide of Tunisha, his ex-girlfriend.


Both Tunisha and Sheezan were a widely adored pair and their chemistry on the show was appreciated by many fans.
