New Delhi: It’s time to send congratulatory messages to wrestler Geeta Phogat and her husband Pawan Kumar as the two are expecting their first child together. Geeta, who participated in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’ along with Hina Khan, Nia Sharma and Ravi Dubey, announced the news of her pregnancy on Ganesh Chaturthi 2019. She shared the good news with her fans by posting an adorable picture along with a heartfelt caption.


Geeta Phogat shared a picture flaunting her baby bump on her official Instagram handle. Geeta Phogat married wrestler Pawan Kumar on November 20, 2016. The couple is quite excited to welcome a little bundle of joy in their lives. She won India’s first ever gold medal in women’s wrestling at the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi.


Aamir Khan's blockbuster film Dangal is loosely based on Geeta Phogat and her sister's lives. Fatima Sana Shaikh portrayed her role in the movie while Zaira Wasim played her younger self.
