'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' actress Shirin Sewani to make Bollywood debut with Sonakshi Sinha's 'Khandani Shafakhana'!

TV actress Shirin Sewani, who is best known for playing Akshara's (Hina Khan) cousin Anshuman's wife 'Jasmeet' in Star Plus show 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai', is all set to take a huge leap in her career. The actress, currently seen in Deepika Singh & Namik Paul's recently launched Colors show 'Kawach Mahashivratri', is set to make her Bollywood debut very soon. Shirin Sewani will be making her big screen debut as Sonakshi Sinha's sister in upcoming film titled 'Khaandaani Shafakhana' also featuring Badshah and Varun Sharma. Two days ago, on 13th June, she posted a picture of the clapboard from the film's set on Instagram. I’m playing Sonakshi’s younger sister and my character name is Sheetu. The film has been produced by Mrighdeep Lamba, Bhushan Kumar and directed by Shilpi Dasgupta. I auditioned for the role and luckily got the part." Everybody on the set was very welcoming and nice to me and they all made me feel comfortable and homely. Varun and Sonakshi are big stars but they always made me feel welcome. I have been working in the web and TV world and this is the first time that I’m working in such a big movie." Directed by Shilpi Dasgupta, 'Khandaani Shafakhana' is scheduled to release on July 26.
