TV czarina Ekta Kapoor's reboot of much-loved show 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay', featuring Erica Fernandes, Parth Samthaan and Hina Khan in lead roles, is fetching decent TRPs ever since it went on-air in September last year. While lead stars of 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2' are getting appreciation for their performances, the star cast of original 'Kasautii...' recently had a reunion. Yes, you read that right! Last night (25th January), TV actresses Shweta Tiwari and Urvashi Dholakia aka Prerna and Komolika from original  'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' had a blast with their co-stars from the Star Plus show after a long time.

While actors Cezanne Khan and Ronit Roy missed the reunion bash held in Mumbai, other stars from Ekta Kapoor's cult show  Urvashi Dholakia, Shweta Tiwari, Tasneem Sheikh, Manish Goel, Poonam Narula Goel, Prachi Thakker, Naveen Saini, Manav Gohil among others met each other for a dinner after a long time.

For the uninitiated, the original 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' went premiered on small-scree in the year 2001 and went on to become one of the most successful shows on Indian Television. While the onscreen pair of Cezanne & Shweta was a huge hit, Urvashi too got the title of TV's most stylish vamp. After a long run, 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' finally went off-air in 2008 but the show as well as its characters are still fresh in everyone's mind.
