On the career front, Pooja Banerjee started her career as a contestant in 'MTV Roadies 8' in the year 2011. Later, she made her acting debut with Star Plus show 'Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum' and later went on to feature in shows like 'Swim Team', 'Naagarjuna - Ek Yoddha', 'Chandra Nadini', 'Dil Hi Toh Hai' among others. Her current role of 'Nivedita Basu' in 'Kasautii...' made her a household name.

Whereas, on the personal front, Pooja Banerjee is happily married to national level swimmer Sandeep Sejwal. The couple exchanged wedding vows on 28th February, 2017 and are in a happy space since then.
