TV Czerina Ekta Kapoor is known for bringing in a revolution on TV with her super-hit ‘K’ serials namely ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi kabhi Bahu Thi’, ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kii’ and ‘Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii’. As reported earlier, she is all set to bring back the re-booted version of much-loved show 'Kasautii..' on 'Star Plus'. The casting of the much-awaited show is currently going-on & various popular names are doing the rounds who are in the running to play important roles in it.

The popular love-saga, which went off-air in 2008, featured Shweta Tiwari & Cezanne Khan in leads as 'Anurag' & 'Prerna. Their fans are surely going to miss the actors in the rebooted version. Recently there was buzz that Shweta's daughter Palak might play the lead in the show.

According to an entertainment portal, "Ekta is in talks with Palak to play the younger role since the show will begin from the college days."

But Palak' father Abhinav Kohli has quashed all such rumours by confirming that it is not true.

Speaking about the same, he confirmed to Bollywood Life that it is just a rumour and that Palak is not doing the project.

Hmm...Shweta's fans are going to be sad after knowing this, for sure!
