TV actress Hina Khan got an amazing response  portrayal of stylish vamp 'Komolika' in Ekta Kapoor's 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' co-starring Parth Samthaan and Erica Fernandes in lead roles of 'Anurag' and 'Prerna' respectively. The actress quit the Star Plus show earlier this year to focus on films. Yesterday (25th September), it was revealed that 'Kahiin Toh Hoga' fame Aamna Sharif will replace Hina as 'Komolika' in 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2'. Now latest buzz suggests that, the makers were also in talks with another popular actress for the role.

TV actress Adaa Khan, who is best known for playing negative lead 'Shesha' in 'Naagin' & 'Naagin 2' and was last seen playing lead in Colors supernatural show 'Vish Ya Amrit -Sitara', was also approached by 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' makers for the role of 'Komolika'.

Speaking about the same, sources told Tellychakkar that, "Naagin actress Adaa Khan was also offered the iconic character. However, apparently, she did not give her nod as she did not want to get typecast. And eventually, this role landed in Aamna Sharif's lap!"

However, Adaa Khan as well as 'Kasautii...' makers are yet to react on the same.

Earlier, names of known actresses like Jasmin Bhasin, Gauahar Khan and Karishma Tanna were were also doing the rounds for the role of 'Komolika' however now Aamna Sharif is confirmed to play the iconic character. The popular Star Plus show will mark Aamna Sharif's TV comeback after a gap of six long years.

Speaking about Hina Khan, fans are surely going to miss seeing her as 'Komolika' however she has various interesting projects in her kitty. On the film front, she has already finished shooting for 'Lines', 'Wish List' and 'Country of Blind' whereas she recently finished the first schedule of Vikram Bhatt's 'Hacked' few days ago and is expected to start film's next schedule in October. Whereas, she is set to make her digital debut with Hungama Play's upcoming web-series 'Damaged 2' co-starring Adhyayan Suman and busy shooting for the same currently.
