New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s reboot version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii’ has managed to keep the viewers hooked on to their television sets. The romantic saga stars Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan in lead roles. ‘Kasautii 2’ has become the number one show across all the channels in week 20.

Hina Khan, who plays the role of Komolika, will soon make an exit from ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. The former Bigg Boss contestant has already shot for her last episode. Meanwhile, the character of Mr. Bajaj will enter the show soon and it is rumoured that Karan Singh Grover will play the part in ‘KZK 2’.

Mr. Rishab Bajaj’s entry is expected to impact the lives of Anurag and Prerna. KSG will step into the shoes of Ronit Roy, who played the original Mr. Bajaj in the first version of ‘Kasautii’.

While fans are waiting to see Karan Singh Grover as new Mr. Bajaj, a report in an entertainment portal has suggested that the actor is in two minds over taking up the offer.

“Karan is still in two minds and is contemplating whether to come back home to the tube or wait for his ALTBalaji web series, Boss, where he is the main lead. His other ALTBalaji web series, Judaai, is also stuck,” a source told IWBuzz.

“Karan is not against doing TV per se, but would prefer a new show, centering around him,” another source told the portal.

The report further stated that Star Plus and Ekta Kapoor have offered Karan Singh Grover a whopping amount to be a part of the show. The actor will have to take a decision soon as Prerna (Erica Fernandes) has already mentioned Mr. Bajaj in the latest episode of 'Kasautii 2'. Since his name was mentioned, we believe Mr. Bajaj would soon make an entry.


On the professional front, Karan was last seen on TV in the show ‘Qubool Hai. He was part of ‘Kasautii 1’ in which he played the role of Sharad Gupta.

The handsome actor made his Bollywood debut with ‘Alone’ opposite Bipasha Basu and later went on to do ‘Hate Story 3’. KSG is awaiting thr release of ‘3 Dev’, ‘Firrkee’ and ‘Aadat Diaries’.
