On Tuesday morning, Hina Khan shared a selfie where she can be seen pouting with TV czarina Ekta Kapoor, and just like most of her fans even we felt that the cat is out of the bag! And the post is an official announcement that Hina Khan is playing Komolika in Ekta Kapoor's much awaited Star Plus show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2.

Ever since Ekta announced the reboot of her cult show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, speculations were at a rife that Hina Khan will essay the role of Komolika originally played by Urvashi Dholakia. However both Hina and Ekta remain tight-lipped whenever asked about the same at any public platform.

Last night the Bigg Boss 11 runner-up Hina Khan attended the premiere of Home, a web-series for Ekta's ALTBalaji, and posted a picture of herself with Ekta from the event. Hina wrote, "And my first ever selfie with the woman I looked up to all these years... Your energy is simply love dear Ekta."


But soon before fans could jump to any conclusion that the duo is dropping hint that Hina is indeed playing the new Komolika, Ekta's comment on the picture left us confused!

With this Ekta has once again confused as most of the sources have confirmed that Hina is a part of the reboot version of Kasauti Zindagi Kay.

While Erica Fernandes and Parth Samthaan have been finalised to play the leads- Anurag & Prerna in Kasauti Zindagi Kay 2, who'd play the popular vamp Komolika, continues to remain a mystery!
