KASAUTII ZINDAGII KAY 2: Ekta Kapoor hints that Parth Samthaan is the LEAD of the show

New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor is busy gearing up for reboot of her much hyped show ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. Among all the cast, only lead actress has been decided. TV actress Erica Fernandez will play the role of ‘Prerna Basu’ in the show. Few weeks back, actress had also shot a promo wearing that black suit and red dupatta. After that, there were speculations that Hina Khan will portray the character of iconic vamp ‘Komolika’. Although, when we asked Hina about this, she said, “You got to wait for the right time and right now I would say no comment’.

Well, the latest we hear is that ‘Kaisi Yeh Yaariyan’ Parth Samthaan will be the Anurag Basu. As per source of an entertainment portal, “The makers want a fresh,  young pairing to rekindle the magic.” Ekta Kapoor’s tweets also hint that Parth can be the Anurag. She wrote, “None of d names floating can be d lead for kasauti as all r way past their prime !!! It’s a reboot of a ‘ young( mid twenties) love story’. The lead Anurag cannot b over thirty playing twenty four na?”
