New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ has been making waves, all thanks to the on-screen and off-screen drama. Viewers are enjoying the current track where Prerna is giving it back to Komolika in her own way. Gossip mills have been buzzing with the rumours that Hina Khan and Erica Fernandes share cold vibes on the sets and things are not well between the two. Erica, who plays the role of Prerna Sharma in the show, had refuted the rumours. Hina Khan, who is currently winning hearts as Komolika, also denied the rumours and said that she talks to Erica on the sets but they are not friends. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress, while talking to a leading daily, said that found the rumours stupid. “I have been inundated with calls regarding my alleged issues with Erica, but I chose to not respond, as I find these rumours stupid. It’s only been a few months since I have started shooting for this show, and every relationship grows organically. I can’t impose myself on someone nor can the other person do it," Hina told Times Of India. (Erica and Hina in a still from Kasautii) The former Bigg Boss contestant praised Erica and called her a sweet girl and said that the star cast of ‘Kasautii 2’ are shooting for the past six months and they share a great rapport with each other. She further said that she and Erica have known each other for only two- three months. “Erica is a very sweet girl. In fact, everyone in the team is nice. Sometimes, you connect with people instantly, or you take time. There are also times when two people, who are good individually, fail to gel with each other. Shaadiyaan toot jaati hain. In Erica and my case, we have known each other for just two-three months. The other actors share a great rapport with each other, because they have been shooting together since six months. They have a lot of memories; I can understand that. Erica and I talk a lot, but I would not say that we are friends. May be, with time we would become friends, but I don’t see that happening because I am taking a break from the show in the next month-and-a-half,” Hina further told the daily. (Hina and Erica in a still from Kasautii) Hina will be taking a break from ‘Kasautii 2’ to focus on her other work commitments including her film projects. Speculations are rife that the makers of ‘KZK 2’ have approached three actresses to replace Hina in the show.
