'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki' Actress Pranitaa Pandit Reveals Her NEWBORN Baby Girl's Name & It's Adorable

Sharad Malhotra and Kratika Sengar's 'Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki' co-star Pranitaa Pandit welcomed her first child last month.

New Delhi: TV actress Pranitaa Pandit, who is fondly known for her role of Netra in Kratika Sengar and Ssharad Malhotra starrer ‘Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki’, became a mother of a baby girl last month. The actress surprised her fans when she announced her pregnancy after six months of marriage. Pranitaa and her husband Shivi Pandit are on cloud nine after the arrival of a little bundle of joy into their lives. The ‘Uttaran’ actress had shared a cute post to announce her pregnancy on social media. The new mommy enjoyed her pregnancy phase to the fullest and she often shared photos flaunting her baby bump on her Instagram handle.

Pranitta, while talking to a leading daily, has revealed the name of her baby girl. The actress and her husband have opted for a unique name for their newborn daughter, who recently turned one-month old. The couple has named their child Anysha Pandit. The name is cute, isn’t it? The new mommy also revealed the reason why she decided to name their baby Anysha.

“I wanted a name which has a good meaning. ‘Anysha’ means both unique and good soul. There are different meanings in different languages for this name. I also believe the child decides his or her name. Anysha Pandit also sounds good to our ears and everyone in our family likes it,” Pranitaa told Times Of India. Pranita also told the daily that she is hoping to resume work by next year. She added that she has started doing yoga to shed the extra kilos which she gained post her pregnancy.

On the professional front, Pranitaa was last seen in Deepika Singh Goyal and Namik Paul starrer ‘Kawach Mahashivratri’. She has also featured in several shows including ‘Jamai Raja’, ‘Do Hanson Ka Jodaa’ and ‘Laagi Tujhse Lagan’, to name a few. Stay tuned for more updates!
