New Delhi: TV actors Karan Sharma and Pooja Singh tied the knot on the evening of March 30 in Mumbai, surrounded by close friends and family in an intimate and heartfelt ceremony.

Although their wedding date was public knowledge, the first wedding video of the couple has emerged on social media, quickly going viral as fans flood them with well-wishes. Interestingly, Karan and Pooja have yet to share any of their wedding photos or videos on social media. The couple looked resplendent in traditional red and maroon attire, exchanging rings before the jaimala ceremony, where Karan affectionately placed the garland around Pooja's neck amidst cheers from the attendees. Notable actors from Sharma’s show ‘Sasural Simar Ka 2’ and Singh’s shows ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’ and ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ graced the occasion to bless the newlyweds.

The wedding festivities began on March 29, 2024, with the mehendi ceremony where Pooja adorned herself in stunning green attire while getting her mehndi done. Karan's presence added to the joy of the occasion as Singh even had a design of his face incorporated into her mehndi.
Their Sangeet ceremony was a star-studded affair, with the couple's captivating performance stealing the show. Actors like Neelu Waghela, renowned for her role as Bhabo in ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum,’ and others, shared their happiness for the newlyweds. The cast of ‘Sasural Simar Ka’ and actors such as Ashi Singh and Helly Shah added to the evening's charm with their performances.
Pooja shares how she met Karan
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Pooja disclosed that their meeting was arranged through a mutual friend for matrimonial purposes, despite both working in the same production house for years without ever crossing paths.
Reflecting on their unlikely encounter, Pooja expressed, “It was quite unexpected. It seems quite dreamy as we both belong to the same industry and have been working for almost a decade but have never met. We both simultaneously worked with Rashami Sharma Productions and used to shoot in the same studio, but we never met.”
She continued, “Even during the pandemic, the cast of both shows were staying at the same hotel, but we never crossed paths. It was when a common friend made us meet. It is more of an arranged marriage set-up. It feels surreal and like we were destined to be together.”
Karan Sharma is recognized for his roles in shows like Sasural Simar Ka 2, Udaariyaan, Mohi, and Ek Nayi Pehchaan, while Pooja Singh has showcased her acting prowess in shows such as Diya Aur Baati Hum, Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal, and Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas, among others.
