'Yeh Hai Mohabbatein' actor Karan Patel recently took to Instagram Stories to express his desire for new work opportunities, while also commenting on the media frenzy surrounding recent events, including Deepika Padukone's baby bump pictures.

What Karan Patel posted

In his post, Karan wrote, "Ok, so now that the general elections are over, India has won the T20 World Cup, Deepika Padukone’s Cutest Baby Bump has also been revealed, Congratulations to the new mommy and daddy. Now, can we get back to work please, and let me know if anyone’s casting.”

Why Karan Patel never said yes to Bigg Boss

Karan Patel, known for his roles in various television serials and reality shows like 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6' and 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 10', has constantly declined the reality show 'Bigg Boss', despite being offered multiple times. The actor has called the show  “dirty and disrespectful.” He then clarified his stance, explaining that his comments were misunderstood, in a conversation with Galatta India. He said, “My statement was taken the wrong way. Senseless minds don’t have the ability to think. What I meant is even Salman bhai says it again and again that the show has become so dirty that even he cannot sit with his mother and watch it. That’s exactly what I repeated. That’s the reason why I don’t do that show because, first of all, the mix of crowd I don’t understand. Why was it required? I understand you have a lot of different kind of audiences but if you don’t draw a line between a celebrity entering the show and when a commoner enters then who are people watching the show for?”

Karan also shared his perspective on the impact of Bigg Boss on careers, asserting that the show doesn’t significantly alter career trajectories. “Those who came out of Bigg Boss started their careers from the same place they entered the show. For instance, my friend Aly Goni, YRF didn’t sign him after he came out of Bigg Boss. They are still where they are. It is you who can make or break it depending on what you do inside the house. Salman Khan saying that ‘you deserve a lot of work’ is not going to get you a film. He might like you, that’s his generosity, but it is not going to snowball into offers.”
