'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' remake: Geetanjali Tikekar & others ROPED IN for the 'Sony TV' show!

Soap-queen Ekta Kapoor is all set to make the TV adaptation of Karan Johar's blockbuster film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' starring Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor in lead roles. Ever since the news came out, the fans are desperately waiting to know about the star cast of the TV adaptation. Few days ago, there were reports that, popular 'Roadies' & 'Splitsvilla' contestant Varun Sood might play one of the male leads of the show. Now, the makers have roped-in few other actors for prominent roles in the show. Reportedly, TV actress Geetanjali Tikekar, who is best known as 'Aparna' from 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' along with others will play important characters in the show. Geetanjali with Cezzane Khan in 'Kasautii...' According to India Forums, "The makers have roped in a big chunk to fill in the ensemble cast, which includes actors, Bijay Anand, Geetanjali Tikekar, Ritu Vij and Manraj Singh." Manraj, Ritu & Bijay (From Left to Right) Giving more information about their characters, the India Forums report further states that, "Bijay, who was last seen in Siya Ke Ram will be playing the role of the father, and Geetanjali will play his on-screen wife along with Ritu Vij playing his ex-wife.
