Popular Star Plus show 'Ishqbaaaz', featuring Nakuul Mehta in lead role, began in 2016 and went on to become an instant hit among the views. But from the last few months, 'Ishqbaaaz' is in the news only for wrong reasons. First of all, Surbhi Chandna aka Anika's exit from 'Ishqbaaaz' didn't went too well with the viewers. From the last few months, there are constant reports of 'Ishqbaaz: Pyaar Ki Ek Dhinchak Kahani' going off-air but now it is confirmed that the show will end in March.

Putting an end to the speculations around 'Ishqbaaaz', producer Gul Khan has finally confirmed that 'Ishqbaaaz' will be going off-air on March 15.

Speaking about the show, Gul Khan told an entertainment portal that, "Ishqbaaz has been a wonderful ride and it is a great feeling that we achieved what we had set out to achieve. A show that challenged stereo types and a platform where a contemporary and relevant issues like #metoo and not being fluent in English could be dealt with!!. All we take away from Ishqbaaz is that your Ishqbaazi and love for telling stories just make you feel more alive and very happy!!"

Thanking the viewers, Gul Khan further told IWMBuzz that, "I cannot thank the viewers enough for making it what it became."
Ever since the starting, 'Ishqbaaaz' broke many stereotrypes and went on to become a huge success. Every actor, who acted in the show, went on to become a household name. Now, the much-loved show is finally bidding goodbye after a good run and the loyal fans of 'Ishqbaaaz' are surely going to miss it.
There are reports that 'Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai' spin-off titled 'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' will replace 'Ishqbaaaz'. However, it is yet to get confirmed.
