Remember the famous song ‘Chura Liya Hai Tumne Jo Dil Ko’, yes you guessed it right, Zeenat Aman is playing the guitar for Vijay Arora in the song. Though he started his career from the film Rockstar (1972) with actress Reena Roy but it was Yaadon Ki Barat that earned him recognition.

Vijay Arora was known for his good looks and was often compared with Bollywood’s original superstar Rajesh Khanna. The actor became threat to many hero of that generation because of his chocolaty looks.

Vijay’s Bollywood career didn’t flourish and soon he was out of work but then came Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan (1987) which revamped his acting career. He was offered the role of Meghnad and, he gave his nod for the role and rest is history.

Died of cancer

The actor breathed his last on February 2, 2007, he died of stomach cancer, he is survived by wife and son. Arora was married to ex-model and Miss India, Dilber Debara. His son Farhad Vijay Arora was a promoter for Ferrari and Maserati cars in India and is now producing films and directing music videos and ads.
