New Delhi: All the four accused in the gang-rape and murder of a 27-year-old veterinarian in Hyderabad were shot dead by the police in an encounter in the wee hours of Friday morning. The accused were being taken to the crime spot, where the victim's charred body was found. TV celebs including Hina Khan, Aakanksha Singh, Kamya Panjabi have reacted to the news on social media.

'Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha' actress Aakanksha Singh, who also worked in Telugu cinema, tweeted, "The best news in the morning .. proud of #hyderabadpolice .. no more wait for the justice.. justice prevails #Encounter #DeathForRapists #Hyderabad #RIPPriyankReddy #instantjustice."


'Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke' actress Sangeeta Kapure posted a strong message on Twitter. She tweeted, "Relief to know the accused were encountered by #Hyderabadpolice, this measure should be taken as a warning to the monsters who hold a bad eye on women, and this is how a rapist should be punished. Justice is served. #DeathForRapists #DrPriyankaReddy #JusticeIsServed #Telangana."
