Posting the picture on Instagram, Geeta wrote, "माँ बनने की दहलीज़ पर मेरा पहला क़दम, सभी माताओं से एक छोटी सी गुज़ारिश.... I am a mother. I love my child. I care for my child. I know the importance of my child's physical and mental growth. I am ready to strive to see my child grow well, respect well and contribute well to the society and to the country. I know it all starts now, in my womb."

On a related note, Geeta Phogat married wrestler Pawan Kumar on November 20, 2016 and the much-in-love couple is super-excited for the arrival of their little bundle of joy.
Speaking further about Geeta Phogat, she won India’s first ever gold medal in women’s wrestling at the Commonwealth Games 2010 in New Delhi. Also, Nitesh Tiwari's much-acclaimed film 'Dangal' was based on Geeta's father Mahavir Singh Phogat's life. Featuring Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, 'Dangal' was the biggest hit of 2016 and Fatima Sana Shaikh played Geeta Phogat in the film whereas Zaira Wasim played her younger self.
