Popular TV actress Hina Khan, who recently lost her father, requested her industry friends to keep her family in their prayers. The ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ actress responded to the condolence message shared by other small screen celebs on social media after her father’s demise. Hina replied to Rubina Dilaik, Nikki Tamboli, Arjun Bijlani, Hiten Tejwani and other stars on Twitter, asking them to offer prayers for her family members, who are mourning the demise of her father. 


Hina, who to shot to fame after playing the role of Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, thanked ‘Bigg Boss 14’ winner Rubina Dilaik for her condolence message. Many TV celebs had expressed grief over the untimely demise of Hina’s father Aslam Khan. 



Hina also responded to her ‘Bigg Boss 11’ co-contestant Puneesh Sharma’s post on Twitter. He said that the Kashmiri beauty would often mention her father while they were locked inside the ‘BB 11’ house. 



The talented actress was shooting for her upcoming project in Kashmir when she received the news of her father’s demise. She immediately returned to Mumbai after she came to know that he passed away due to cardiac arrest. 


The ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 8’ finalist has decided to take a break from social media after her father’s death. She informed her fans that her social media handles will be handled by her team, who will share updates related to her upcoming projects with the fans. 


“My beloved father Aslam Khan left for heavenly abode on April 20, 2021. I am grateful to each one of you for checking in on me and my family during these tough times. While me & my family are mourning the loss, my social media accounts will be handled by her team for my upcoming work commitments. Thank you for your support and love,” Hina said in a statement.  


The last few days have been tough for the ‘Naagin 5’ star as she tested positive for COVID-19. Khan went into self-quarantine after contracting the virus.
