Mumbai: Popular TV actress Hina Khan was honoured with the award for 'Iconic Actress in a Web Film' for her performance in 'Lines' at the Iconic Gold Awards 2021, which were held in Mumbai on Saturday (September 25). The ‘Bigg Boss 11’ finalist played the role of a Kashmiri girl in the short film, which premiered on VOOT last month. 


Hina Khan Dedicates Award To Her Father


Hina shared a post on the occasion of Daughter’s Day 2021, remembering her late father. She expressed her grief over her father’s absence and said that this was her first award, which he didn’t hold.  


“Dad, wherever you are, I am sure you know that it’s you who made it possible for me to come this far. Be who I am today as a person and a professional. and a human being. This is the first award you won’t be holding physically. But I know, this too is possible because of you. So this and everything. Forever is for you. Thank you for this gift dad,” she wrote on Instagram while sharing a glimpse of her winner’s trophy. 


Hina also thanked her fans for showering her with love and support. She added, “Congratulations @rockyj1 @hirosfbf our first as co-producers. Congratulations to the entire Lines Team.”

Hina Khan’s father Aslam Khan passed away on April 20, 2021 after suffering a cardiac arrest. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress was shooting for ‘Baarish Ban Janaa’ in Kashmir when she received the news of her dad’s demise. She immediately rushed to Mumbai to be with her mother amid the tough times.

The small screen diva opted for a green coloured outfit for the gala event. She creates ripples as she walked down the red carpet of Iconic Gold Awards 2021.




On the professional front, Hina was recently seen in the music video ‘Main Bhi Barbaar’ opposite Angad Bedi. She has worked in hit shows like ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’, ‘Naagin 5’ and ‘YRKKH’.
