New Delhi: The untimely demise of Sushant Singh Rajput has re-ignited debates on topics like nepotism, favoritism and ‘Insider vs Outsider’ in Bollywood. There has been a flurry of posts on social media, which have blamed the ‘privileged club’ of Bollywood for Sushant’s death. The likes of Sonam Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shraddha Kapoor have disabled comments section on their Instagram handles to avoid the aggressive rage against star kids on social media.

Sonam Kapoor, last seen in ‘The Zoya Factor’, stirred a storm on Twitter after she posted a tweet on Father’s Day 2020. The ‘PadMan’ actress said that she is proud to be Anil Kapoor’s daughter and her privilege is because of her karma.

“Today on Father’s Day id like to say one more thing, yes I’m my fathers daughter and yes I am here because of him and yes I’m privileged. That’s not an insult, my father has worked very hard to give me all of this. And it is my karma where I’m born and to whom I’m born. I’m proud to be his daughter,” Sonam tweeted.

Popular TV actress Hina Khan’s boyfriend Rocky Jaiswal expressed his displeasure over Sonam Kapoor’s tweet and said that he ‘expected better’ from her.

While replying to Sonam’s tweet, Rocky wrote, “So, every individual who’s been denied d opportunity they deserved bcoz of #Privileges n #Nepotism deserved it for their ‘Karma’ in thr past life? By that logic, I can’t begin to imagine ur next life  @sonamakapoor!   Respectfully M’am, I expected better frm U given ur fathers BG.”

He further tweeted, “Btw this western version of a sacred cosmic balance is d reason why d poor r left in this country on d roads by d rich, privileged n powerful. Justifying cruelty in d name of ‘Karma’ by d high, mighty n powerful. Thumbs up for accepting ur reality n respect ur opinion otherwise.” Hina Khan liked her beau Rocky Jaiswal’s tweets on the micro-blogging site.

Sushant Singh Rajput, last seen in ‘Drive’ opposite Jacqueline Fernandez, left for his heavenly abode June 14. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home in Bandra. The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actor was reportedly battling depression since the last six months.
