New Delhi: A massive fire broke out at popular TV actor Shaleen Malhotra’s house on Thursday (April 25) night in Mumbai. A short circuit in the living room caused the fire at his place. The ‘Arjun’ actor’s elder dog was present at his house when the incident took place. Shaleen’s dog got injured but his recovering from the injuries now.

Talking about the incident, Shaleen told an entertainment portal, “My wife, I and my younger dog had gone to drop a friend. And soon I got a call from my house help that due to short circuit in the living room massive fire took in the house. My elder dog was in the house when the fire took place. I quickly rushed to my resident, opened the door and rescued my younger pet. He is injured but thankfully recovering now.”

The ‘Laado 2’ actor said that his entire house got damaged and he is currently living at his brother-in-law’s place.

“My almost entire house is damaged and I have no clue what to do next. Right now, I and my family have taken shelter at my brother-in-law’s place. The incident was horrifying by I am glad everyone is safe,” Shaleen told Tellychakkar.


Shaleen keeps on sharing pictures of his pet dogs and he has even created separate Instagram handles for them.

On the professional front, Shaleen was first seen in MTV Roadies 4. The actor made his TV debut with the cop drama ‘Arjun’ on Star Plus. He was last seen in Colors TV’s ‘Laado-Veerpur Ki Mardani’ opposite Avika Gor.

Shaleen was also parts of shows like ‘Ishqbaaaz’, ‘Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai’ and ‘Code Red- Talaash’.
