Sony SAB's new television show, 'Vanshaj', seems to be defying the conventional norms of storytelling on television. The show aims to challenge traditional content by presenting a thought-provoking narrative that explores the dynamics of gender roles and inheritance within family businesses, deviating from the usual saas-bahu dramas that have dominated television screens in the past.

The story revolves around Yuvika, an ordinary girl who questions the patriarchal rules of succession in legacy businesses. Yuvika rebels against her extended family and embarks on a journey to establish herself as the rightful heir to the Mahajan empire. Her determination to redeem her father's reputation leads her to navigate the politically charged business landscape, becoming a role model for women who dare to challenge the status quo.

The cast of 'Vanshaj' delivers remarkable performances that leave a lasting impact on the audience. Puneet Issar portrays the patriarch, Bhanupratap, with depth and gravitas, while Mahir Pandhi brings magnetic energy to the character of DJ, the spoilt male heir of the affluent Mahajan family. Gireesh Sahdev shines as Dhanraj, the suave and entitled chief of the empire.

The show showcases the opulent lifestyle of large business families, offering a glimpse into the world of luxury, as shown in the Mahajan House, designed accordingly to reflect modernity and sophistication.

Vanshaj is aired on Sony SAB every Monday to Saturday at 10 PM.
