Mumbai: Popular TV actress Erica Fernandes, fondly known for playing the role of Prerna in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ opposite Parth Samthaan, turned a year older on Friday (May 7). The small screen diva is a workaholic as she is busy shooting for a project on her birthday.  


Erica’s on-screen mother-in-law Mohini Basu aka Shubhaavi Choksey penned a heartfelt post for the talented actress on social media. She promised to celebrate Erica’s special day twice next year as COVID-19 crisis has spoiled all their plans.

Sonyaa Ayodhya, who shared a close relationship with Erica, posted a cute photo with the birthday girl. “Can't wait to create many more crazy memories with you.. Happy birthday. Shine on,” Sonyaa wrote. 




On the professional front, Erica was seen in a full-fledged role in ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’. Her sizzling chemistry with co-star Parth Samthaan grabbed several eyeballs.

Gossip mills are buzzing with the rumours that Erica will re-unite with Shaheer Sheikh for the new season of ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’. The actress made her small screen debut with the popular romantic saga, which aired two seasons on Sony TV. 


Unlike the first two seasons, ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi 3’ is expected to beam on SonyLIV. The makers have managed to keep the details under wraps.
