New Delhi: Ekta Kapoor’s reboot version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay’ has managed to do exceptionally well in terms of TRPs. The romantic saga starring Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Hina Khan has won the hearts of the viewers with its storyline. ‘Kasautii 2’, which also stars Pooja Banerjee and Shubhaavi Choksey, has become the number one show on Star Plus. Hina Khan, who plays the role of Komolika, will soon make her exit from the show. The ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ actress has already shot for her last sequence. The episode will air in the upcoming days. It was said the makers of the show were planning to kill the character of Prerna. Ardent fans of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ were shocked when the news hit the internet. However, it seems there no truth to the rumours. A report in a news portal suggested that this was all a promotional gimmick and Erica will continue to be a part of the show. The makers will show Prerna’s death but she will make a comeback to ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2’ in a few days. ‘Who is playing the new Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii?’’- is the question which on everybody’s mind. It was earlier said that popular TV actor Karan Wahi will step into the shoes of Ronit Roy and play the iconic character. As per the latest buzz, Ekta Kapoor has finalised Karan Singh Grover to play Mr. Rishabh Bajaj in ‘Kasautii 2’. Interestingly, he had essayed the role of Sharad Gupta in the first version of ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay starring Shweta Tiwari and Cezzane Khan. There are reports which suggest that Anurag will get arrested for Komolika’s murder and Mr. Bajaj will enter Prerna’s life in the absence of Anurag. Watch this space for more updates!
