‘Silsila’ received a lot of flak on social media after the makers showed a lovemaking scene between Nandini (Drashti Dhami) and her best friend’s husband Kunal (Shakti Arora). Viewers had slammed the actors, channel and the producers for showing infidelity.

Drashti’s character Nandini will die in the upcoming episodes and the ‘Geet’ actress has already shot for her last. Shakti Arora shared a picture with her and wrote a sweet message for his co-star.

‘’It was wonderful working with you. You are not only a good co-star, jhalli, pagal, mastikhor and amazing human being but a great friend too. U know how to live life and u do live ur life to the fullest. I ll miss working with you on this journey ahead. Hoping to work with you soon.. lots of love and all the best... happy holidays :),’’ the handsome actor wrote on Instagram.

The makers of the show are all set to take a six year leap and they have roped in Kinshuk Mahajan as the new lead opposite Mauli (Aditi Sharma). Interestingly, the leap will also witness the entry of Mauli and Nandini’s daughters in the show, as per a report in IWMBuzz.
