Speaking about her pre-wedding functions, the actress told a leading daily that, “At the sangeet, along with other songs, I will be performing to the title track of Shagun, as it has always been my dream to do so. My actor friends will perform, too.

Recalling her first meeting with hubby-to-be Praveen, Surbhi further told TOI that, "He is too shy. In fact, I had to make that first call and he immediately decided to marry me. However, I insisted on meeting him. When we met, I found him too simple and lied to him that our horoscopes don’t match. However, he outsmarted me by matching them before our meeting and told me that there had to be another reason for me to reject the proposal (laughs!). After a few more meetings, I realised that he is a thorough gentleman with a pure heart."

Speaking about their honeymoon plans, Surbhi revealed that they will be going to Europe in May or June. However, the date has not been fixed.

On the professional front, Surbhi has featured in popular TV shows including 'Diya Aur Baati Hum', 'Kumkum: Ek Pyaara Sa Bandhan', 'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', 'Jhansi Ki Rani', 'Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli' among others. She was last seen in &TV's 'Agniphera'.
