Diya Aur Baati Hum Actress Deepika Singh Thanks Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal As Her Mother Recovers From COVID-19

The popular TV actress shared the happy news of her mother's recovery with fans on social media, she thanked Delhi government for all the help.

A couple of days back, a video of popular TV actress Deepika Singh best known for her lead role in Star Plus’ ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ went viral where she was pleading for help from the Delhi government for her mother who was diagnosed positive for Covid 19. The TV actress was facing troubles in finding a hospital bed for her mother. Upon requesting the government, Deepika was provided help.

And now the latest update is that the actress has recovered from the coronavirus and is back home. Taking to her Twitter account, the popular TV star shared the good news with her fans, while also thanking them for all their love and support. Further, Deepika expressed gratitude to the Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal & his government for their cooperation and help. "Heartiest thankyou to all of you for praying and wishing speedy recovery for my mother. She is back home and safe. Grateful to everyone who has been a big support in this process. Dil Se Shukriya @ArvindKejriwal @msisodia @rvishal2356," wrote Deepika.

The actress further shared on Instagram that her grandmother, who too was diagnosed with Covid-19 is still in hospital and requested everyone for her speedy recovery. She shared a happy picture posing with her mom & grandmother.
