Popular Actress Deepika Singh Goyal, who became a household name after playing the lead role of 'Sandhya Rathi' in 'Star Plus' show 'Diya Aur Baati Hum' opposite Anas Rashid, is on a break from TV ever since the show went off-air in 2016. The talented actress, who is happily married to director Rohit Raj Goyal since May 2014, gave birth to her first child Soham in May 2017 and is busy nurturing him since then. As per the latest buzz, Deepika is now all set to come back on TV after almost 2 years of her baby boy.

Few weeks ago, there were reports that TV czarina is set to bring back her supernatural show 'Kavach... Kaali Shaktiyon Se' on Colors. Now according to an entertainment portal, Deepika Singh has been roped in by Balaji Telefilms to play the lead role in the second season of 'Kavach'.

The Tellychakkar report further states that, "Deepika Singh has a pivotal role in the show, and audience will see her in different avatar."

However, Deepika Singh is yet to react on the same.

As per earlier reports, the second season of 'Kavach' will reportedly replace Surbhi Jyoti & Pearl V Puri's 'Naagin 3'. However, the official announcement regarding the show as well as its cast is still awaited.

For the uninitiated, the first season of 'Kavach' featured Mona Singh, Vivek Dahiya & Mahek Chahal (later replaced by Sara Khan) in lead roles. The show fetched decent TRPs and the show will soon come back on TV.
